Koalafied privacy policy

Koalafied is developed by Andrew Reid, trading as MUPPIT (registered Australian business name). On the App Store the seller appears as Andrew Robert Peter Reid. In this policy, “the developer” means that person trading as MUPPIT.
This privacy policy describes how the Koalafied™ app (“the App”) and the website at koalafied.app (“the Site”) handle information.
Overview
Koalafied is a personal tool for tracking credential and CPD hours. The developer does not collect, store, or process your client and practice data on developer-operated servers. Session, path, and milestone data stay on your devices using Apple frameworks described below.
Data stored on your devices
App data
Your records stay on your devices and sync privately with your Apple ID. Under the hood, the App stores them locally with SwiftData and syncs them through your personal private CloudKit database in the container iCloud.com.muppit.Koalafied.
Depending on how you use the App, that may include:

The developer does not operate a separate cloud copy of this data and cannot read your private CloudKit database.
Privacy Mode
Privacy Mode is available in the App. When enabled, it masks identifying names in the interface (for example, showing generic labels instead of real names). Privacy Mode is a display convenience; it does not create a separate developer-side anonymisation service.
Transcript or recording redaction features are not part of the shipped product described by this policy.
Payments (App Store)
When purchases are made via the App Store, Apple processes payment. The developer receives standard App Store Connect commerce information related to those purchases (for example, that a subscription was purchased or cancelled). The developer does not receive your full payment card details.
Availability of any in-app purchase or Koalafied Pro offering is controlled in App Store Connect and may change over time.
Website analytics
The Site may use Cloudflare Web Analytics when configured with an analytics token. That product is designed to be privacy-oriented (no cookies for the basic beacon). Analytics apply to the website only.
The App does not send product analytics, crash reports, or advertising telemetry to the developer.
Data the developer does not receive from the App
For the shipped behaviour covered by this policy, the developer does not:
- Host your hour logs on a developer server
- Sell your data
- Use your client and practice data for advertising
- Provide your client and practice data to third parties for their marketing
Children
The App is not directed at children. The App is intended for users 16 years of age or older. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has provided information through the Site contact channel, contact us and we will delete what we can control (for example, email correspondence).
International users
If you use the App outside Australia, your data remains subject to Apple’s processing for SwiftData/CloudKit on your account and devices. Where Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) or the GDPR would apply to personal information the developer actually receives (for example, support email content), the developer treats that correspondence as personal information and retains it only as needed to respond and keep ordinary business records.
Your choices
- Delete the App to remove local App data from that device (CloudKit data follows your Apple ID and iCloud settings).
- Manage iCloud storage and account data in Apple system settings.
- Contact support@koalafied.app for privacy questions about information the developer holds (such as support email).

Apple App Store guidelines
This policy is written to align with Apple App Store Review Guidelines concerning privacy and data use, including Guidelines 5.1.1 (Privacy: Data Collection and Storage) and 5.1.2 (Privacy: Data Use and Sharing).

We may update this policy as the App or Site changes. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated review date above.
