Logging hours

Log hours (and, where your path uses them, CPD units or similar credits) so totals accumulate against the milestones on your path. Koalafied™ is a tracking tool. It does not certify hours with any credentialing body.

Logging is available on iPhone, iPad, and Mac. Apple Watch shows path progress only. It does not create sessions. See Devices.

Create a session

  1. From Home, use + and choose New Session, or open Sessions and add from there.
  2. Enter the details your settings and profession wording allow. Common fields include date, duration, people involved, session category or type, and paid or pro bono treatment where that applies.
  3. Save. Completed sessions contribute to path tallies according to your path rules. Scheduled or other statuses follow the labels in the app.

Terminology (for example Coaching vs Counselling vs Client Session) adapts to recognised bodies when the app can map them. Neutral wording is used when you work across several bodies or a custom path.

Session types and rules

Depending on your path and settings, sessions may include types such as regular client work, peer practice, pro bono, interview, exchange, or body-specific labels. Paid and pro bono hours, and peer half-hour rules where configured, feed the path ledger. Enter what matches your real practice. The app does not invent hours for you.

Audio and transcripts

On a session detail screen you can attach audio or an imported transcript when you have files to keep with the record. The app does not generate transcripts on device today. On-device transcription is planned; see Roadmap.

Synced review when both audio and transcript are present follows the in-app players. Video never syncs over iCloud.

Privacy Mode while logging

Turn on Privacy Mode from the toolbar eye when you need other people’s names masked (Person N style aliases) and emails hidden. Your own name stays visible. Programme names can mask as Program N while Privacy Mode is on. This is display masking in the UI, not a separate redaction service.

Seeing progress

Home and path detail show hours, clients, and projection toward the next milestone (or credit-cycle checklist items). Filters on session lists help you find recent work. An “AI Summary” style filter may appear in the UI for future analysis. AI assessment of sessions is not shipped yet; see Roadmap.

Accuracy

Totals depend on what you enter and how your path counts sessions. Export before major edits if you need an audit copy. See Import and export.
