Getting started

Koalafied™ helps you track certification and CPD hours, milestones, and paths toward a credential on iPhone, iPad, and Mac, with path progress on Apple Watch as a companion. Your data stays on your devices and syncs privately with your Apple ID.

What you need

PlatformMinimum
iPhone / iPadiOS / iPadOS 18
MacmacOS 15
Apple WatchwatchOS 11 (companion; see Devices)

Koalafied is coming soon to the App Store. When the listing is live, install from there. Until then, use the Demo and these docs to learn the product.

First run

  1. Open Koalafied and walk through the Welcome Tour (you can replay it later from Settings).
  2. Complete About you (name and email used in the app profile).
  3. Choose how to begin:
    • Enrol one or more paths from templates for your credentialing body, or start a custom path.
    • Or restore a backup ZIP if you already have a Koalafied archive.
  4. On Home, follow Getting Started until you have at least one path and one session. The app offers an import-oriented branch if you already have hour records elsewhere, or a fresh path if you are starting clean.
  5. Log your first session, or import a session log.

Core ideas

  • A path is the plan for a credentialing journey: milestones, hour or credit rules, and how progress counts for a body.
  • A milestone is a checkpoint on that path.
  • A session is a timed record of practice (or other work your path accepts) that contributes to progress.

Across your devices

Use iPhone, iPad, or Mac for the full app. Use Apple Watch to glance at path progress after the iPhone has synced. Watch does not log sessions today. Full matrix: Devices.

Privacy from the start

  • Turn on Privacy Mode from the toolbar when you need names masked in the UI.
  • Review how data stays on device: Privacy overview and the Privacy policy.
